Castrol Red Rubber Grease is a medium consistency grease based on a vegetable oil, inorganic thickener technology and an additive system imparting resistance to both corrosion and oxidation, designed for contact with rubber. This grease has been formulated and tested to ensure it will not harm natural or synthetic rubbers, primarily for the automotive market.

Castrol Red Rubber Grease is formulated to meet the requirements of Lucas Girling Specification TS-2-34-04 and thus provides superior rubber to rubber lubrication where any adverse effects such as hardening or swelling of material must be avoided.

Castrol Red Rubber Grease can be used as a packing grease or dust and water excluder for rubber sleeves on braking systems. It is suitable for use on rubber O-rings and seals to aid assembly of mechanical components and is also an effective lubricant/easing compound for fitting tyres and windscreens etc.

Castrol Red Rubber Grease is particularly suitable for use in the assembly of automotive brake systems, clutch components and suspension units where compatibility with natural rubber and SBR material is considered essential.

Castrol Spheerol BTX 2 Grease (previously called BTX Grease) is a high performance grease developed for use in a wide range of mining and industrial applications.

Spheerol BTX Grease uses a unique combination of extreme pressure and antiwear agents, corrosion and oxidation inhibitors in a lithium complex base.

Spheerol BTX Grease draws on field trial experience in a number of severely heavy duty applications including motorsport.

The formulation is engineered to provide outstanding protection of ball and rolling bearings in high speed and load applications. It is also suitable for general chassis greasing, ball joints, constant velocity joints and other sliding surfaces and plain bearing lubrication. It is also used in applications like Jack shafts, Bucket pins and Vibrating shafts.

Continuous Operating Temperature Range: -35°C to 175°C

Intermittent Operating Temperature Range: -40°C to 200°C
